Prof. D.C.Patel

A faculty by heart, Prof. D.C.Patel is an entrepreneurial, academic leader by mind and a banker by brain. He is       a man with vision, action and discipline. His tenure of three decades as an Associate Professor in Mathematics & Statistics at Anand Commerce College molded him as a sound academician. He has walked his dynamic journey in academics for the betterment of students, faculties and educational system in the Sardar Patel University and has served as Syndicate Member for the longest tenure.

His academic journey in education for over five decades has turned into a voyage, while he had worked as an active Board member to establish CVM University and as a Dean of Faculty of Business Studies (1999-2002). As a Senate Member of Banaras Hindu University (2008) and as a Syndicate Member of SPU he reformed and restructured the academics.

His caring concern for faculties of the Sardar Patel University made him lead the Sardar Patel Teacher’s Association (SPUATA). The strong efforts as a founding President of Shreyas Education Society has helped in nurturing two schools at Sevaliya in the district of Kheda, Gujarat. He is Secretary of Anand Mercantile Samaj Seva Trust that runs our college.

He has founded Sanket Sales India which today has its extensions in nine cities in the country. His banking brain made him lead Anand Mercantile Co-operative Bank as a Managing Director (1992-2002). He is a silent philanthroper who advocates humanity, simplicity and sanity.
