National Service Scheme
The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Very appropriately, the motto of NSS is “NOT ME BUT YOU”.
Vision goal
The National Service scheme has been functioning with motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” in view of making the youth inspired in service of the people and hence NSS Aims Education through community Service and Community Service through Education.
Aims & Objectives of NSS
- To understand the community in which they work.
- To understand themselves concerning their community
- To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving.
- To develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.
- To utilise their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.
- To develop the competence required for group living and sharing of responsibilities.

- Patriotic competition.
- Thalassemia Awareness camp.
